I got up at 5am today to paint the sunrise. I wanted the chimney of Tulketh Mill to be silhouetted against the sky, with the street still a bit dusky and the traffic lights twinkling etc. I think I got most of that but I’m not happy with the composition. It all needs shifting about half an inch up. Oh well. Maybe next time.
Anyway, today I learnt if you lurk behind some bins at the side of a busy road early in the morning with a pochade box on a tripod, cars will slow down 👮🏻♂️📸😆
