I visited Kendal today and made a quick painting of the castle. I‘ll be honest, I’ve been to Kendal a few times and I didn’t know there was a castle. It’s only about a 10-minute walk from the centre. It’s not much to look at, just some ruins, but the views from the top were brilliant. I made another painting straight after of Kendal Parish Church, which I’ll post later.
